Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali airport and Transfer to the hotel
on the Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. Meet and Greet. You will be warmly welcomed by our representative outside the customs and immigration hall, then Transfer to the hotel for Check-in then dinner, and overnight.
Accommodation: Okapi Hotel or Similar
Day 2: Kigali city Tour and Transfer to Musanze
Early in the morning after breakfast, our Driver Guide will pick you up from the hotel and then embark on a Kigali city tour where will visit different places in Kigali including Kigali memorial site then transfer to Musanze for Dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Muhabura Hotel or Similar
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking, Iby’iwacu Cultural Village then Transfer to Kigali international Airport for departure
Have yourself an early tasty breakfast, after your driver-guide will pick you up From the Hotel and take you to the headquarters of the park by 7 am for beefing. Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla trekking, in most cases this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers.
On several occasions it takes between 3 to 6hours to trek and trekkers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour. It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, and feed among others. While trekking hikers will be in line to also see other animals like the golden monkeys, elephants, buffaloes as well as birds.
After trekking, you will be escorted back and head to the Hotel for lunch then after Relaxation will drive to iby’iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians) based in the community bordering Volcanoes National Park. In the village, you will have a wonderful, interactive experience, learning all about Rwandan traditions, cultural songs, and dances. You will be given a chance to participate in local dances and drums, all while wearing a traditional local “Umushanana” dress; shooting arrows, and attending a traditional healer’s medicine. From there we shall drive to Kigali International airport for Departure.
